Dear Parent:
Mission Statement: St. Alban's is dedicated to the guidance and education of children in an environment which develops the WHOLE child - academically, socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually - in a manner conducive to learning so they can discover and develop their unique gifts and talents in a way which serves others and gives glory and honor to Almighty God.
We at St. Alban's Episcopal Day School believe we have a unique opportunity to fulfill that mission. That opportunity is to work in concert with parents to educate the whole child: to teach and mentor students in all areas of their lives.
Our school provides the benefit of sound Christian principles, a nurturing school environment and exceptionally qualified and dedicated teachers who work with students to encourage and teach them to become well-rounded, independent thinking people. It is the responsibility of the school to assist in the instilling kindness, self-responsibility, independent thinking and love for others into each student.
With this preparation, our students will be better equipped to deal with the peer pressures that will face them their whole lives. We can feel secure that each student that leaves St. Alban's Episcopal Day School will go forward with the greater sense of the individual responsibility needed to make the world a better place. These leaders of tomorrow will also be able to help instill these qualities in others!
I want to encourage you to come and find out more about our school! Call for a tour today and let us show you what an extraordinary school looks like! We are constantly reaching out to our parents, community members and staff for suggestions for the good of our school. Please view the results of our 2007-2008 Survey Results and the Strategic Plan approved January, 2008.
